This policy explains how the Cuesheet app handles your data. Cuesheet is published by Shelterwood AI Inc. (“Shelterwood”, “we”, “us”). For the website, see our company privacy policy.
Cuesheet is built to work on your device. The short version: the classes you build and the work you do in Cuesheet stay on your device. We do not run our own servers that collect your class data, and Cuesheet contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
What stays on your device
The classes you build in Cuesheet — your segments, effort and cadence settings, durations, and the playlists you line up — are stored on your device.
When Cuesheet helps you build a class, that help runs on your device using Apple’s on-device Foundation Models. The content of your classes is processed on the device and is not sent to Shelterwood to do this.
Cuesheet does not transmit your class data to Shelterwood’s servers.
Music and Apple MusicKit
Cuesheet uses Apple MusicKit to let you work with your own music library and playlists. Your use of Apple Music and your music library is governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy policy, and access happens through Apple’s frameworks on your device. Cuesheet asks for permission to access your music; you can grant or refuse this in iOS settings. We do not receive a copy of your music library.
What we do not collect
- We do not run third-party advertising SDKs in Cuesheet.
- We do not run third-party analytics or tracking SDKs in Cuesheet.
- We do not sell your data. We have nothing of yours to sell.
- We do not require you to create a Shelterwood account to use the app.
If this changes in a future version — for example, if we add an optional feature that needs to send data off the device — we will update this policy and make the change clear in the app before it takes effect.
Apple’s standard services
Cuesheet runs on Apple’s platforms and uses standard Apple services. If you have iCloud backup enabled, your device backup is handled by Apple under Apple’s terms. App downloads, purchases, and crash or diagnostic reports you choose to share with Apple are handled by Apple, not by us.
Deleting your data
Because your Cuesheet data lives on your device, you control it. You can delete individual classes in the app, and removing the app from your device removes the data Cuesheet stored on it. As we do not hold your class data on our own servers, there is nothing further for us to delete on your behalf.
Age
Cuesheet is intended for users aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above.
