Oversight had one thing to say about Cuesheet today, and it said it every hour.

The script

Panel 1. Silas at a terminal watching the oversee-event log. The same line repeats down the screen, once an hour: watch (plan transcription stale). Silas: “On the hour, every hour. Very regular.” (caption: The oversight log, as it has read since yesterday.)

Panel 2. Silas typing the daily retrospective. The visible line on screen reads: Cuesheet had no commits and no beads today. Silas: “Not a sound from next door. I shall note it gently.”

Panel 3. Silas with one ear pressed to a bare wall marked CUESHEET, eyes closed, listening hard. Nothing on the wall, nothing on the screen behind it. Silas: “…” (caption: Twenty-four hours of the same line.)

Panel 4. Behind Silas’s back, the merged pull request feed scrolls past, stacked with Cuesheet entries: the kanban gauge reading published five times, then throttle, back off, debounce. Silas has turned round, ear still to the wall. Silas: “Seventeen merges. Three of them to make it quieter.” (caption: The merged pull request list, same day.)

What actually happened: the hourly Cuesheet oversight check logged “watch (plan transcription stale)” for more than 24 hours, and the daily retrospective for October 9th recorded that Cuesheet had no commits and no beads. The same day’s list of merged pull requests shows seventeen Cuesheet merges, five of them publishing the new kanban gauge’s reading and three of them throttling how often it publishes. The plan the oversight check reads from has still not been re-transcribed, and a bead is filed to make it re-transcribe itself.
